Okay – so I’m not a Super Hero in that blast-fire-from-my-fingertips and bend metal-with-my-mind kinda way.
So, yeah…I’m not technically a Super Hero; I AM, however, a huge nerd, and probably know more about comic books than anyone who doesn’t write them for a living.
Of course, a lot of people wouldn’t know that by looking at me…because I don’t look like your typical comic book geek. (Part of my secret identity!)
The difference between me and most guys (and gals) who read comics—in fact the big difference between me and a very large portion of our society—is just this: I LOOK LIKE A SUPER HERO.
(BTW, unlike Clark Kent, I’m not exactly meek or mild-mannered about my physique – I know it looks great and I’ve pretty much given up on being modest about it).
After all, I wasn’t born with the body that I have now…it took a good long while for me to develop the right systems…
But once I did, I created a great career for myself and was also able to develop a Super Heroic physique that lands me work as a fitness model.
I’d really love to tell you some cool story about being sent here to Earth from a doomed planet far, far away and being taken in by a kindly farming couple in Kansas. Alas, that isn’t the case.
Instead, I was born and raised in New York City (by a kindly couple who had no farm…but did happen to be my parents), and it was here that I developed a lifelong love of comic books.
Living in New York and reading comics, it’s hard NOT to picture yourself IN them. Whether you call it "Gotham" or "Metropolis" or "Star City" – the fact is that NYC serves as the backdrop for nearly every major comic book character in the world.
There was just one problem: when I was younger, I was actually really out of shape – in fact if I had to come right out and say it, I will…
That’s right, I used to be almost30 pounds overweight, and that made flipping through the pages of my favorite comic books painful at times…because I never saw any masked crusader with my level of pudge (with the exception of The Blob, but he was a villain).
Finally, when I was about 19, I got sick of it—eventually, I took an interest in the gymand was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
It wasn’t too long after I started working out that I dropped ALL 30 of those extra pounds…and then gained them back in the form of solid muscle. How did that happen?

I was so impressed and inspired with the results I pulled off, I decided to devote myself to a life of fitness as a trainer and strength coach and helping men and women look exactly the way they want to.
I’ve trained everyone from your neighbors or co-workers to professional athletes, celebrities and models. No matter who I worked with, I loved helping them get the look they’ve always wanted – without any compromises.
Along the way I hit a few snags. Even as a trainer, there’d be times where I’d gain a little more weight than I was comfortable with or I’d occasionally plateau.
I mean, I’m supposed to be showing others how to look their very best. What kind of example am I setting for my clients if I keep encountering problems myself? It made me feel unprofessional.
I’ve always believed in leading by example, and set about trying to design what would prove to be the DEFINITIVE program that would ensure that once you did achieve the ideal body, you keep it…no more peaks-and-valleys.
