You may not have heard of me, but I’m part of a community of players who spend their time studying the inner-most workings of the Warcraft economy. As a group we are constantly exchanging hints and tips on the best strategies for making gold across the many realms of Azeroth.

In truth, I sucked at making gold when I first started out in wow. Like most players new to the game I was fairly clueless on the workings of Warcraft economy (what economy?). The Auction House was a mystery to me and I was always stony broke.

Without a decent supply of gold, I struggled through every aspect of the game and it took me many levels before I had the gold for even the most basic of mounts. I leveled my Professions at a snail’s pace and at one point almost gave up on the whole Warcraft experience.

My guild mates despaired at my pitiful gear and tried to help with this hack or that hack; but their tricks quickly disappeared with the coming of the next patch. It only takes a slight change in game mechanics (chaos orbs are no longer soulbound as an example) to affect how gold flows through the game. I bounced from gold blog to gold blog but found only recycled scratchings of old guides.

So I set myself the task of learning all I could about the game mechanics of gold creation. How gold cycles through the game; the pivotal roles played by the Auction house and the Professions. I slowly dissected the inner-most workings of the wow gold economy.

By understanding the wow gold economy I found that I could predict the buying and selling cycles that occurred in the game. Slowly, but surely, I began to make gold. A little at first – 1-2k a playing session – and then larger amounts – until I had the gold for my epic chopper mount.

I sought out other like-minded players who had the same fascination with the workings of the gold economy. We exchanged ideas on the best best gold making strategies for the Auction House and for each of the Professions.

I have a very extensive understanding of the level 85-90 zones (The Jade Forest, Valley of the Four Winds, Krasarang Wilds, Kun-Lai Summit, Townlong Steppes, Dread Wastes, and Vale of Eternal Blossoms), and have developed full 85-90 horde & alliance leveling guides that you can use to quickly breeze right through these zones with absolutely no confusion at all. Why do I level characters to get good /played times? Well, I am a speed runner, I have been doing speed runs through games my whole life, I am a dedicated gamer, and spend LOTS of my time finding the fastest ways to finish a game. I am most likely the fastest Power Leveler in World of Warcraft because of this, many may know me by now with all the servers I have played on, and have seen the results of me hitting 60/70/80/85/90 before anyone else in an extremely fast time. That’s right I can get to 90 in less than 6 days (playing less than 4 days of it), so I log out plenty to eat, sleep, and other RL things. Take a look at typical screenshots of me leveling up on new servers, I get tell after tell all day long while leveling! (also note how far ahead I am from everybody on the /who list, usually when I hit 60, no one else has even hit 50 yet!)

Since SO many people have asked this, I took it upon myself to create this website and show all my speed run accomplishments and of course the FULL 1-90 Leveling guides I have put together for you! Another reason why I decided to create my guide is because of how crummy other guides are out there. If there is one important tip I can give you, that is not to buy store bought guides for World of Warcraft! You have to understand that WoW changes all the time, new patches come out and makes things obsolete, if you buy a physical book, it will be outdated within months of the time it was published. Here are my past accomplishments (from older date, to newer date): Malfurion: 6 days 17 hours to 60… Akama: 6 days 4 hours to 60…

And here’s a quick video I put together, it’s nothing special just what I did after hitting 60, which was basically just walking around Orgrimmar:

After each speed run, everybody was so shocked and amazed at how fast I was able to get to 60 on each server, and the fact of everyone asking me how I was able to do it so fast motivated me to write all the guides you see here on this site.
