Early on I made a decision that I had to stop this happening to me because on an emotional level, I did not want to mirror the way my parents approached life.

So, as I got older I tried many different methods to try and improve my self-confidence, but soon realized that even though I was attempting to adopt new thought processes and adjust my behavior, I was not getting to the core (my subconscious mind) of where the problem was. I was despondent and struggling emotionally.

In early 2008 I discovered focused meditation and Ho’oponopono. Until that time I really had no idea that there were techniques like this that could help clear my ‘blocks’, to enable me to live a happier, more fulfilled and self-confident life.

With the inspiration of my mentor, Dr Joe Vitale, over the next three and a half years I incorporated what I learned to create five self-help audio programs, which have since impacted the lives of thousands of people in over 30 countries.

Despite all my learning and growth, I still had many limiting beliefs such as “I am not good enough” and “I don’t deserve abundance”, and that the vast majority of these beliefs were inherited from my parents.

I knew that I had this pre-disposition coming into adult life and that somehow I had not sufficiently been paying attention to this up until that point, and I realized that I had to deal with it and treat it, or else this was going to be an issue that I would have for the rest of my life.

I decided then that I truly wanted to improve my self-confidence and self-love once and for all, so I decided to create a tool that I could use everyday to stop my resistance (memories) and anxiety about feeling worthy.

Sensory Motor Skills are products of our central nervous system. Specifically they are the relationship between our sensory skills (seeing, hearing, and touching) and motor skills (muscles and their movement).

 Ideally, our motor skills take the information our senses receive and process it into an appropriate action. These skills are very important in childhood development.

To explain it simply, when someone has poor Sensory Motor Skills they misinterpret or have a hard time connecting everyday sensory information with the motor skills required. This heart warming image may seem a little far fetched to you right at this moment in time; however don’t worry it was once just a pipe dream for me too… Until I discovered some easy-to-use principles which transformed my son (Brandon) from the depths of despair and depression, to the happy-go-lucky, friendly 17 year old he is today. So let me share a little of Brandon’s story with you here today…


When Brandon was a little boy – I have such fond memories of myself and he playing "hide and seek", digging up worms in the garden, and making the best mud pies in Queensland (Australia)!

Back then he really enjoyed life and lived it to the absolute MAX – until something really, really scary happened to him. The frightening and chilling spectre of… School!

From the very first day when he sprinted out of class, crying floods of tears and declared "I’m NEVER going back" – I knew there’d be trouble… Pretty quickly the other kids discovered my son was ‘different’, and they knew they could get instant entertainment from him. They knew no matter what took place, they just had to run off and leave him to take the blame from the teachers. Yet he never took the blame, he just got more upset and ended up throwing a full blown melt down, which would make the teachers send him home. It was a no win situation for my son Brandon. Some days I could drop him off and by the time I arrived home the school was ringing me to pick him up again! He was being bullied and the teachers just didn’t seem to want to help him one little bit.

Brandon began to feel very overwhelmed anytime he had to go to school. No one liked him! And though he could not communicate it… He still felt strongly and knew in his own way he had no friends, the teachers loathed him and he was so alone and sad. I used to find him just sobbing under the quilt in his bedroom. His unfriendly peers and equally unhelpful teachers were literally tearing his poor young soul into pieces. Over time his behaviours began to come strong and heavy because problems were getting worse at school. And this went on for 3 years… It all reached a chilling climax on Valentine’s Day in 2004 (when Brandon was 8), when…

So while every other child was sitting there opening cards and giggling on this "fun" day; our son was made to sit there and just watch. Not even the teacher made a card for him, which I actually found the most hurtful! Then I received the phone call… Brandon had "lost it" in class and they wanted me to pick him up. Which I did; however no-one at the school even bothered to let me know what had happened. So Brandon stormed into the house and nearly slammed the bedroom door off it’s hinges. I left him alone for 5 minutes, because I knew he needed downtime before I should approach him. To kill time I emptied his school bag, cleared the kitchen table and began peeling some carrots for dinner.

Brandon was nowhere to be found, which sent a chill down my spine because I knew he had not left his bedroom… My heart was now beating SO quickly because I feared he had jumped out his window (he had done this a few times before)… However I soon realised he couldn’t as the screen was still on the window… I looked under his bed… there was no one there. Then I looked in his wardrobe because I know he used to like curling up in his wardrobe when he was younger. And there was my little man, the love of my life, hanging from the rod in his wardrobe while his hands were in the tie around his neck. My mind went blank except for the immediate "life and death" need to get the damned tie off his neck and to talk to him… To try to figure out what in the world had happened to make my beautiful son want to end his own life.

"Slowly I undid the tie around his neck – and I took him in my arms and just hugged him… he laid and sobbed in my arms"

We cuddled together on his bedroom floor and I told him I was going to ask a lot of questions and he needed to answer them. Brandon managed to stifle his sobs and meekly replied “Okay”. Brandon told me the story about the Valentine card giving and told me… “No one likes me mum, so I wanted to die", however then I changed my mind and I could not get the tie off my neck!” So here I am sitting with my son who I just had to save from trying to hang himself, and I was feeling: Anger at the adult who allowed my son to feel so excluded and isolated in front of his peers Resentment to the other parents for not teaching their children how to accept ALL others regardless of any "difference" Sadness because I had bought a vulnerable child into this world of hate and meanness, and yet I was… Giggling because here he was sitting there talking about how he had thought about suicide, and then how he had changed his mind, yet could not get the tie off around his neck!

Sharks fish are the smaller specimens are technically shark fish, and are more akin to minnows, but they have the trademark, streamlined look of their giant brethren. Sharks literally breathe the water in which they swim. The first step is not to decide what kind of tank you need, but rather what kind of shark you want to raise.

For brackish or saltwater tank enthusiasts, small species of true sharks or Elasmobranchii are definitely an option. Most of these sharks are under 2 feet (0.609 meters) in length. They do require big tanks, but for people who really want to live with and study these fascinating creatures, the investment in time, money, and space is well worth it.

If you are new to aquaculture, its a good rule of thumb to decide on the focal point of your tank and make all decisions based on what that fish needs.

People who take up this hobby invest time, money, and effort to learn how to do what theyre doing and do it well. is it little wonder theyd find keeping a shark, especially a large one, an appealing challenge?

Your child will love having a Aquarium– and will always remember good times they had when they are older because of their memories of their first fish.

Siamese Algae Eaters Siamese Algae Eaters are peaceful fish requiring only moderate care. They do very well in tanks of 30 gallons (113.56 liters) or more, but they do like planted aquariums with lots of plants with broad leaves for resting.

Lets start with a specific example using two common starter species of freshwater shark fish, the Bala Shark fish and the Red Tail Shark fish.

Bala Shark – Docile But Large The Bala Shark is one of the easiest freshwater species to keep. They are one of several species of shark fish that are close relatives of the minnow. Balas are social, friendly creatures that get along well with smaller fish, especially if theyve been raised together. They like to swim and school with their own kind, or with any species that will congregate with them. One charming thing about a Bala Shark is that they will often have a ‘best friend’ of another species in the tank, a situation that is fascinating to watch from the other side of the glass.

Red Tail Shark – Aggressive But Small If you dont have room for a six-foot tank (1.82 m), you could opt to raise a Red Tail Shark. They are also a close relative of the minnow, and are the smallest of the freshwater shark fish. A Red Tail rarely grows to more than 6 inches in length (15.24 cm), and can be housed in a 20-gallon (75.7 liter) tank.

If you’re going with a Red Tail Shark, youre inviting a little bully with a Napoleon complex into your tank. Red Tails pick fights with other fish in the tank often to the death. They exhibit extreme territoriality, and theyre jumpers. Never put a Red Tail in a tank without a lid. Youll come home and find your supremely confident, but unwittingly suicidal fish dead on the floor!

Fish that exhibit territoriality are more aggressive to their own kind, which will limit the numbers of sharks you can keep. The Red Tail shark will get along well with other semi-aggressive fish, but not with other sharks.
